The second-generation ceramic composite tape, while retaining the core advantages of the first generation—“consistent softness and toughness, and the ability to form ceramics at high temperatures”—has successfully addressed the earlier product’s shortcomings of easy cracking under extreme heat and poor thermal insulation by incorporating nano‑porous materials and high‑grade ceramic fiber fabrics. As a result, it has become a state-of-the-art protective material for tackling severe fire hazards and thermal runaway scenarios.
Product Application:
High‑end fire‑resistant cable wrapping: Applied directly as a fire‑resistant layer around the conductor, it rapidly forms a ceramic coating upon exposure to flame, ensuring continuous transmission of power and signals during a fire (suitable for super‑tall buildings, subways, and nuclear power plants).
New energy vehicle battery protection: Encased between power battery modules, it inhibits the spread of thermal runaway flames while providing both electrical insulation and thermal insulation, thereby enhancing the safety of the battery pack.
Building fire‑stop sealing: Fills cable wall penetration openings or wraps around pipe penetrations; upon exposure to fire, it expands into a ceramic material, effectively preventing the passage of smoke and flames and complying with building fire‑safety codes.
Emergency Power Supply System: Used to protect cables for critical infrastructure such as fire pumps and emergency lighting, ensuring continuous power to essential equipment during a fire and enhancing rescue efficiency.

3. To achieve the optimal bonding surface, the substrate must be clean and dry. The ideal temperature range for applying the adhesive tape is 21–30°C. It is recommended that initial bonding not be performed at temperatures below 10°C, as the adhesive may harden and fail to provide a secure bond. Adhesion retention at low temperatures remains satisfactory.
