Product Description
Product Features:
Ceramic composite tape (first generation) is a composite material based on silicone rubber, formulated with specialized ceramic‑forming fillers and typically reinforced with high‑temperature fiberglass fabric. At room temperature, it exhibits the softness and elasticity of conventional silicone; however, when exposed to fire or extreme heat, the material rapidly undergoes “ceramization,” hardening into a tough, dense ceramic‑like shell that provides critical fire‑resistance and flame‑retardant protection.
Product Application:
Fire‑resistant and fire‑proof cables: Used as wrapping tapes or filling layers in cable construction, they ensure uninterrupted power and signal transmission during a fire (commonly employed in high‑rise buildings, subways, and airports).
New energy vehicles: Fire‑proof partitions inside the power battery pack to prevent thermal runaway from spreading among the cells. Industrial safety: Cable protection in metallurgical and chemical plants, particularly in areas exposed to high temperatures or flying sparks.
Building fire protection: Used for firestopping in building joints and around penetrations of pipes.

Note:
1. The tape thickness does not include the thickness of the release liner.
2. Custom production is available upon customer request.
3. To achieve the optimal bonding surface, the substrate must be clean and dry. The ideal temperature range for applying the adhesive tape is 21–30°C. It is recommended not to apply the tape when the initial bonding temperature is below 10°C, as the adhesive may harden at such low temperatures, preventing a secure bond. However, the tack at low temperatures remains satisfactory.
